Hi Mike,
I just wanted to thank you for creating such excellent study guides for courses 5 and 6. I religiously studied your flash cards and outlines and more or less stuck to your study schedule and passed both exams on the first try. I am sure that had I not purchased the JAM study materials and used them as you suggested I would not have passed either of the exams…and for me the consequences may have been more than simply being in bad standing with those in charge of our actuarial student program. I'm utterly impressed with the thoroughness and thoughtfulness with which you assembled your study manuals and I will heartily recommend them (or their equivalent in this new system) to anyone in need of a study guide.

I just wanted to send you a note to say "Thank You" for your JAM products.
I obtained my ASA back in 1992 and had not taken exams since. I decided last January to try to obtain my FSA. I used the JAM Study Guides, CD's, Index Cards and followed your suggested study schedule to prepare for both Course 5 and 6 last year. I am very happy to say that I passed both exams on the first try. Your study guide made sense of some of the more difficult sections of the exams and the cards were invaluable for memorizing the material for the essay portion of the exams.

I wanted to take a minute just to provide some feedback on JAM and thank you. I received my exam results today in the mail, and found that I yet again far exceeded my expectations both by passing and with respect to my score (a 9!!!). I felt the exact same way six months ago when I got a 9 on Course 5 as well. Both were my first attempts. I think you have put together great products (both JAM 5 and 6), and I attribute a good portion of my success to the JAM manuals, cards, and seminars. I am sure without them, I could have eventually passed the exams, but there is no way I could have done so at the pace I achieved. Although I hope to be done with exams very shortly, and would probably not benefit if you do, I truly hope you will continue to develop manuals as I think they are a great service to those who strive to learn material and pass these difficult actuarial exams.

I know that this passing had to with some of luck which I think I surely have at some point, my studying skills and hours that I put and God's grace. However, your seminars, study manuals and other help and guidance made everything so easy for me to start and continue studying until the day of exams. I always recommend your seminars to any actuarial students that I know.

Hi Mike... This is an overdue THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all your help, advice, teachings, etc.
I did pass Course 6 (first attempt) after attending your seminar in Northbrook. I was the one sitting in the front row who asked the most obnoxious question when we were going through Financial Economics... "is it really that easy?" (Does that ring a bell?)
Not only did I pass, but I scored an 8 -- and I know that I would never have even made it to the exam without your instruction and encouragement.
