If you are a homeschooled student who wants to be part of a competitive and fun cross country team, then look no further. Sovereign Grace Storm is preparing for its second season. You do not want to miss out. The team is open for boys and girls in 6th to 12th grade. No prior running experience is required, but the participant should be willing to train. Team practices are three mornings per week from 6:30 to 8:00 near the Brentwood YMCA on Concord Road. Participants must run on their own at least two other days per week. We compete in approximately eight meets in middle Tennessee against private and public schools. Official practices begin in late July. The final meet is in mid-October. The fee for each participant is $75, with a family maximum of $150. Each participant will also need to purchase a uniform, which costs $35.
